\ni.e.<\/i>, I am not able to bear.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\ni.e<\/i>., \u201cAre<\/i> the young men finished passing by<\/i>?\u201d or done passing before me?
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nMatt. 10:23\u2014\u201cYe shall not have gone over the cities of Israel till the Son of Man be come.\u201d
\nLit. \u201cYe will not have finished going over<\/i> the cities,\u201d etc<\/i>., referring to verses 6 and 7.

\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\n1 Kings 7:47\u2014\u201cAnd Solomon left all the vessels unweighed<\/i> because they were exceeding many,\u201d
\ni.e.<\/i>, and Solomon omitted to weigh<\/i>, etc<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nProv. 21:5\u2014 \u201cThe thoughts of the diligent tend<\/i> only to plenteousness:
\nbut of every one that is<\/i> hasty only to want.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here plenteousness is\u00a0\u05de\ufb4b\u05ea\u05b8\u05e8 (m\u014dthar<\/i>) that which is over and above<\/i>, excess<\/i>,
\n(from \u05d9\u05b8\u05ea\u05b7\u05e8 (yahthar<\/i>) to be superfluous<\/i>).
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe thoughts of the diligent tend only to excess, and [the thoughts<\/i>] of every one that hasteth [to get riches tend<\/i>] only to want.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The R.V. supplies the Ellipses<\/i> thus. “But every one that is hasty hasteth<\/i> only to want\u201d; “hasting<\/i>: to want\u201d is very obscure, but the \u201chasting to get riches\u201d tending to want is clear.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n


\nMark 15:8 \u2014 \u201cAnd the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do<\/i> as he had ever done unto them,\u201d i.e<\/i>., that he should do<\/i>.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n


\nLuke 13:33\u2014\u201cNevertheless I must walk today, and tomorrow, and the day<\/i> following,\u201d etc<\/i>.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The R.V.<\/a> has \u201cHowbeit I must go on my way.\u201d
\nBut the Greek is \u201cHowbeit it behoves me today, and tomorrow, and the day<\/i> following, to go on [to work<\/i>],\u201d i.e<\/i>., to continue working.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
