\nNum. 24:19 \u2014\u201cOut of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe R.V. is more literal:\u2014\u201cAnd out of Jacob shall one have dominion.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe Heb. is simply:\u2014\u201cAnd one shall rule (or have dominion) out of Jacob.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe Ellipsis<\/i> of the participle being supplied, it reads:\u2014
\n\u201cAnd one<\/i> shall rule [being born<\/i>] out of Jacob.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\n1 Sam. 15:7 \u2014\u201cAnd Saul smote the Amalekites [dwelling<\/i>] from Havilah unto Shur.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nThis refers to the region occupied by the Amalekites, and not to the people smitten,
\nas is clear from chap. 30.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nIsa. 57:8<\/a> \u2014 \u201cThou hast discovered thyself to another <\/i>than me,\u201d
\ni.e<\/i>., thou hast discovered thyself, departing<\/i> from me, \u05de\u05b5\u05d0\u05b4\ufb4a\u05b4\u05d9 (me\u00efttee<\/i><\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nEzek. 11:11 \u2014 \u201cThis city<\/i> shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but<\/i> I will judge you [scattered<\/i>] in the border of Israel.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
