\n1 And\u2021<\/span><\/a> I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

\nPolysyndeton<\/i>, or \u201cmany conjunctions\u201d, <\/i>is a figure that uses more conjunctions than would normally be used. In verse 4 we see the conjunction hoti (\u1f45\u03c4\u03b9<\/span>), for<\/a>\u2020, being employed. The function of conjunctions is to join things together.
\nIn verse 4 we see \u201c Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name?\u201d connected to
\n\u201cfor [<\/span>thou<\/i><\/span>] only [<\/span>art<\/i><\/span>] holy\u201d:
\nconnected to
\n\u201cfor all nations shall come and worship before thee\u201d;
\nconnected to
\n\u201cfor thy judgments are made manifest\u201d.
\nAll of the elements here are connected to one another, forming a whole.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
